Ananova: Reality TV survival show ship runs aground

Fiana Fail member of the Irish parliament Barry Andrews said: "I believe the grounding shows that so-called reality television has gone too far, with people being asked to carry out challenges that are too dangerous."
I personaly think the shows are stupid, but if stuff like this will get them off the air quicker, let them happen (without any loss of life of course).

[Guardian Unlimited | The Guardian | Children who 'can't live without' constant TV]

Kam Atwal, the research manager, said: "It's the medium they spend the most time with, by far. It's the one they can't live without. The children in our study couldn't imagine life without it. Some were amazed that turning off the television might be a consideration."
We have gone 20 min. into the future.... (For those who do not get it, find an old Max Headroom episode).
